I really like wintering in Morocco! So from Sidi Kaouki I drive a bit south again. Leo and I make an extra round in the interior before we take the boat back to Spain.
Paradise Valley

Via Imi Ouaddar I drive via an amazing mountain road to Paradise Valley. The name says it all, a paradise valley with palm trees and small (cold) lakes where you can even swim in the winter!
Leo and I don’t go swimming and choose to walk in the valley. We pass many terraces, a few small lakes and we have a stunning view. Wow, I love these walks!

Via another beautiful mountain road I drive back to the coast. We go a bit further south because I meet some friends in Aglou Plage.
Aglou Plage

There are so many French on the campsite, unbelievable! The lake near the campsite is completely green. After a nice walk on the beach and a look at the mosque, we go out for a nice meal at one of the many restaurants.

Anti Atlas mountains, Tafraout
On the way to Tafraout… look at the pictures below, what more can I say about this view… I love It!

A walkers paradise in Tafraout! On the large parking lot in Tafraout you can stay indefinitely for a small fee, some campers stay here for months! Fresh bread in the morning, then the other sellers come with eggs, Moroccan cookies, necklaces and much more.

The next day, after coffee with fresh croissant, I go explore the village together with Leo. We walk around the market, look at the colorful clothes and the many shoe shops, nice! Tafraout is known for the handmade Babouche (Berber) loafers.

Nearby you can also view the blue painted rocks, maybe nice when you are in the area!
Back to the coast
We leave early in the morning and see the sunrise over the mountains, how cool is that.

The route from Tafraout to Agadir is also breathtaking. How I love these mountain roads, after every bend I see a new wonderful view, I’m repeating myself I know. So photos, photos and more photos.

Sidi Bibi
I meet Sjaak and Gina from the Netherlands, it’s Sjaak’s birthday today and we drink coffee and cake, Dutch cosiness!
On the terrace by the pool I work on my blog, order a nice glass of wine and watch the sunset. I’m toyally satisfied!
Our last stop, Mohammedia
In the meantime I am on my way north and will take the boat to Spain in a few days. A nice ride to Mohammedia, for the first time in weeks it rains. The sea is rough and the water is high, the beach in Mohammedia, strewn with dirt, is completely washed clean, wow!

It’s our last day in Morocco and I look back on a fantastic African adventure and wonderful winter holiday in Morocco. We enjoy the chickens roaming around the camper and leave for Tanger Med, where we take the boat back to Spain this afternoon.
Back to Europe! We are going to continue wintering in Andalusia, will you travel with us?
